Lunch, provided by NetASPx, consisted of an assortment of sandwiches, chips and cookies from Einstein Bagels, of course!
· Upgrade delayed due to receiving new upgrade programs that had changes to tool management, direct deposit, and materials with EDI invoices. · New GO LIVE date o 01/10/03. This is the date that all departments were in agreement with.
View Craig’s Security presentation here (170K). His presentation contains an outstanding chart showing the Security components and their relationships to each other - print the presentation page (3) and keep it - this is a vital reference! Craig Needham also presented the Lawson 7-to-8.0.2 Upgrade and Changes from a technical view. He showed the supported upgrade paths, complier changes, new environment features, new database features, the Logan name change to IOS (Internet Object Services), IOS basics, and Craig also defined environment, IOS, and collaborative commerce. He gave an overview of the starting and ending points with the upgrade and system requirements. View Craig’s PowerPoint presentation here (574K).
In closing the Rocky Mountain User Group 4th quarter meeting we had a drawing of door prizes provided by netASPx and Paradigm. Some of the prizes up for grabs were slinkies, CDs, gift certificates, golf shirts and sweatshirts. The big prize was a palm pilot provided by Paradigm. We thank everyone for attending this ROMLUG meeting (54 attendees - the largest turnout yet)!
