3rd Quarter of 2002 Meeting Minutes

Deidra Walker welcomed the group to the 3rd quarter Rocky Mountain Lawson User Group Meeting, which had 35 attendees.

The User Group Committee would like to thank Centura Health for the location and providing breakfast and the discounted lunch for the 3rd Quarter User Group Meeting. We want to say a special Thank you to Digiterra, Lawson and Paradigm for presenting and being involved with the Rocky Mountain User Group Meetings.

Chris L’Archevesue from Centura Health gave an update on their upgrading to 8.0.

	Centura conducted a Conference room Pilot which helped identify what’s working and what’s not.
	Centura did the upgrade process on their new box trying to identify timing and problems.
	Centura would recommend that other clients consider purging PR tables, PR distrib, GLtrans, and emdedhst when upgrading to 8.0.
	Centura health will use a 7.3.3 environment in the initial upgrade
	Centura needs to get the upgrade done in 3 days. The initial upgrade process took 2 weeks.
	Centura’s new “GO-LIVE” date is October 18, 20

Lisa Schroeder, consultant with Paradigm and Lita Weinstein, with Denver Public Schools presented DPS Flex Plan. They gave an overview of DPS Flex Plan History and DPS Flex Plan design. They identified the advantages of the DPS Flex, showed their plan set up and suggested items to consider.

Lunch, provided by Centura Health, consisted of an assortment of Deli sandwiches, chips and cookies.

Mark DiGiovani from Digiterra presented on Lawson’s New ProcessFlow product. He gave an overview on ProcessFlow, the product features, maintenance and differences between the Standard and Professional versions of ProcessFlow. He also explained the different Triggers, Designer functionalities vs. Delivered functionalities and showed us ProcessFlow in Action.

Steve Kleekamp from Lawson presented on AP to PO Matching in 8.0. He talked and reviewed all the Differences between 7x to 8x.
